BJ
is a Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of INCUMEDx. As CEO,
BJ is responsible for INCUMEDx’ operation and focused on creating
domestic & international business opportunities for companies,
clinicians and individuals to have their ideas and product concepts
developed into working devices.
Prior
to INCUMEDx, BJ was the General Manager of Global Cardiovascular R&D
General Manager for Terumo Corporation based out of Tokyo, Japan and
was responsible for the Company’s Interventional Cardiology businesses
focused on Imaging. Before joining Terumo, BJ held a variety of executive
management, Project Investment Board Chairman and related leadership
positions in R&D, New Business Development, and domestic/international
marketing for Boston Scientific Corporation (USA/Japan/Korea/Asia-Pacific)
in the areas of interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Radiology, Neurovascular
& related medical device technology.
He began
his career in Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics supporting the
NASA Space Shuttle’s aerodynamics, propulsion, and thermal protection
systems. Program was funded via University of Minnesota’s Institute
of Technology and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center located in Huntsville,
Alabama, NASA – Lewis Center of Cleveland, Ohis prior to entering
into his ~20+ years experience in medical devices with Target Therapeutics,
B. Braun Medical, and Schneider U.S.A./Europe (Pfizer Hospital Products
Group).
BJ earned
a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the Institute of
Technology - University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Graduate-level
Bio-Medical Education from Saint Thomas University of St. Paul, Minnesota,
and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University of Silicon Valley, California.
